Hi All,
I am a new guy to the networking domain have a doubt in etherchanneling the ports and VRRP. Please find the attached diagram for your reference.
Is it possible to etherchannel at one end(DISTRIBUTION SWITCH) and connect one link to core_switch1 and other link to core_switch2. These core switches are connected through VRRP.
Please help.
Thanks In Advance,
AMR

Hi for that to work your core switches would need to be VSS or stacked together , port-channel links must terminate on same switch unless its one of the previous mentioned

Hello,
It is not possible unless your core switch is a VSS set up.
Thanks,
