Etherchannel is up, but interfaces are disabled

Hi,

Can someone explain to me how this can be possible. Also, note that after a reload both interfaces went back to "connected" state:

this seems ok. what is the configuration of other side. port configurations must be same in etherchannel interfaces. do it step by step

Hi Jean,

As Mhendirli said kindly configure the parameters to be equal at both the ends to avoid ports going down or disabled.

Probably before rebooting the device you could have bounced the port-channel ports and had checked the status?

Next Time if in caes you see the same issue then collect and check the following information:

Make sure all vlans, trunk,native vlan parameters are matching on both the sides of Port-Channel.

We would need the following information:

=========================

1-Port channel configuration from both the end

2-Interface config belongs to that specific port channel

3-STP instance/status of the port-channel from both the end.

4-Latest logs from the device.

5- Shut and no shut the Port-Channel ports.

HTH
