Etherchannel Using 10 Gig Ethernet

Hi All,

Because of problems with 10gig trunks using another vendors hardware, the company have decided to replace our hardware with 6509.

As I will be supporting the new cisco hardware, i was just wondering if there are any known issues with 10 gig trunks.

Any information appreciated, config ,troubleshooting etc. Can the cabling in the trunk be either copper or fibre.

Hello Harry,

first of all you need a sup720 supervisor to support 6708 or 6716 linecards

bundling of tengiga ports is possible also using LACP.
