Hello everyone,
My question is can I bundle the two fastethernet interface of a router 2811 to create an etherchannel, like in the case of a switch?
If yes, please explain.
Thanks

I think its not possible with onboard fe interfaces which are l3 only. I havenot tried setting up the l3 etherchanne using the ports though...might be worth trying..
i know its possible with the use of Ether switchmodules on the router.

When I issue the command "channel-group 1", the router says "channel-group 1 is not configure", which tells that somehow the channel can be configure.
Any help, please

The command is probably there in case you have installed like hwic switch modules in which you can channel those interfaces .
