Hi Folks
Why the nexus 2000 called Fabric extender or FEX,What this mean in term of Tech

It's called an "extender" because you can't use the Nexus 2K WITHOUT a Nexus 5K. You configure everything in the Nexus 5K and you deploy this in a central location or at the end-of-the-row in a Data Centre. The Nexus 2K is deployed as a top-of-rack. You don't need to configure the 2K and all you need to do is connect the 2K to the 5K where the 5K will manage the 2K.
Does this make any sense?
