Hello,
I am going to be receiving a few 9407s and would like to start preparing base configurations for them. Is there a way I could get a copy of the factory default configuration as a starting point? I want to see how they look coming out of the box.
Thanks,
Dave

Your subject mentioned 9410 and you getting 9407, hope we are discussing here catalyst 9400 i guess.
here is the start with :
Do you have any exiting setup running in enterprise, and you want to upgrade with these or totally green field, where do you think these kit will be installed in the network layer, as Distribution or Access Layer.
so based on that testing varies, depends on what feature you look is important to start with base config to start with.

Perfect, thanks for the quick reply BB, I assumed it would be pretty basic.
Yes, this is a total green-field. We have many other chassis switches in our other offices, but we're going for a totally different build on these (L3 with BGP). We're hoping our re-seller has enough lab space to stage our switches and let us in, but I have to be prepared to send them just enough to configure management access before they go and stage them in the new building.
Thanks again,
Dave

Always check your feature supported IOS before you start building base config.
