I am working on taking my CCNA exam soon. I have been looking for an actual Cisco router to start associating myself with the IOS and configuring a home network. So, A friend of mine gave me a Cisco 1711 router. I do not know the static IP range assigned to any of the ports. I am unaware of the username and password to access via hyper terminal service. I would like to reset the router to factory, allowing me to config from scratch.
I have searched all over the internet and find nothing very helpful. I would expect there to be a rather simple way of accomplishing this.
I would appreciate any help.
