I have a 2500 router connected by AUI / transeiver to a 1924 Switch (fa 0/26 port). Both have their ports running at half duplex. The router says the port is up and up but switch says the fastethernet port is suspended-no-linkbeat. I have reset both devices to out-of-the-box defaults and started over with new configs. The fa 0/26 port on switch says STP state is blocking but I can't get it to a forwarding state (if that is part of the problem). I'm just starting my studies for CCNA and I'm stumped here. I have tried researching that particular error message but cannot find anything that points me in the right direction for the solution. Any advice or input would be appreciatecd.
