I attempted re-installing the IOS image of my 3750 switch which was formatted in error. When I open hyperterminal, and select default setting (9600 baud etc etc), below is what I get.

Base ethernet MAC Address: 00:12:d9:95:db:00

Xmodem file system is available.

The password-recovery mechanism is enabled.

Initializing Flash...

flashfs[0]: filesystem check interrupted!

...done Initializing Flash.

Boot Sector Filesystem (bs) installed, fsid: 3

The system has been interrupted, or encountered an error

during initializion of the flash filesystem. The following

commands will initialize the flash filesystem, and finish

loading the operating system software:

flash_init

load_helper

boot

switch: flash_init

Initializing Flash...

flashfs[0]: 2 files, 1 directories

flashfs[0]: 0 orphaned files, 0 orphaned directories

flashfs[0]: Total bytes: 15998976

flashfs[0]: Bytes used: 2560

flashfs[0]: Bytes available: 15996416

flashfs[0]: flashfs fsck took 7 seconds.

...done Initializing Flash.

Setting console baud rate to 9600...

switch: load_helper

switch: copy xmodem: flash:c3750-ipservicesk9-mz.122-25.SEE2.bin

Begin the Xmodem or Xmodem-1K transfer now...

Any ideas on what I am missing out to get this right.

Cheers

If it's not already off, try turning flow control off before connecting to the switch.

take a look at this link: http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps628/products_tech_note09186a0080169696.shtml

I will also suggest increasing the baude rate to speed up the transfer.
