fex port down

my fex number is 102, interface e102/1/1 is up. then I configure e102/1/2 by copying e102/1/1 configuration, duplex and speed are correct. but status is down, so I want to know why it is down, (the reason of fex port down) how to check? thanks

Is the fex uplinked to only one parent switch or 2?

Also, is any device connected to the port (102/1/2)?

two parent switch, how would i know device connected to the port, the device is 2000 miles away and no telephone number can reach

This command will show the MAC address if there is a device connected to it

sh mac address-table interface ethernet 102/1/2
