Fibre trivial question

Hello folks,

My trivial question:

If the fibre cable is connected to SFP/GBIC port on on one side and the other side is not connected anywhere and is only hanging in the air.

Will the LED indicator above the connected SFP/GBIC port be Green, or will it not blink at all?

should not do anything and be blank - unless there is an issue with the SPF module.

When phisical media Connect on both sides with switches/routes,then only port led's will blink .
