Hi all, i work at a reseller and i've just installed 2x WIC 2A/s's into 2600 router but realise that the serial numbers don't match up to what we have on the system. How do i find out the serial number through the router?
I've tried
Router#show module(s)
Router#show inventory
Router#show test X
but none of these commands are valid.

Hi, if looking for serial number of WIC try this at command line " show diag ", should be able to show serial number of WIC. For serial number of router " show version ".

No problem , with those commands you should be able to get all serial#s information you need.
