My device has 256 MB of flash however when I issue the show flash command it appears to be full
System CompactFlash directory:
File Length Name/status
1 39296912 c3725-adventerprisek9_ivs-mz.124-23.bin
2 900 vlan.dat
[256901116 bytes used, 0 available, 256901116 total]
250880K bytes of ATA System CompactFlash (Read/Write)
Is this normal and can I correct it?

Do a "dir flash: and see whats in there . Does it only show the 1 image ? If so then do a squeeze command to recover the space . Someone probably deleted previous files and did not squeeze the flash .

It seems that if I boot my IOS from flash then all the space appears to be full, however if I boot from slot0, then both flash and slot0 appear fine. I am wondering it is something with the IOS as when I boot from flash squeeze does not no anything.
