Hi
When i am going to upgrade IOS on my 2960S flexstack with default settings and at the end do a reload - do all members reboot the same time?
I´m asking because, i have a SAN connected to the stack, and need each switch to reboot individual.
Regards
Robert

A reload performed on a stack, means to reload the whole stack -all stack members- at the same time. Reloading a certain stack member # will re-elect a new master and if this involve upgrading codes on some members they won't be able to join the stack later due to code version mismatch. I would strongly recommend to avoid such action. keep in mind, stack = all or none because all members are considered as 'one switch'.

You could try the steps used in this article http://lost-carrier.org/howto-upgrade-your-stackable-3750-with-limited-service-disruption/ however it would be less of a headache for you to schedule an hour downtime and do it the way Cisco recommends it.

I´ll schedule a downtime and update the recommended way.
