Hi,
We are seeing the following repetitious log message in our WS-C2960XR-48FPS-I. I suspect it is because of Cisco bug CSCuv53498 even though it is a standalone switch (not a stack) as we are running IOS version 15.2(2)E3.

I do see one power supply up and the other slot empty. I had the site contact verify the first appears to be running ok; while the second, is indeed, not present:
SW PID Serial# Status Sys Pwr PoE Pwr Watts
-- ------------------ ---------- --------------- ------- ------- -----
1A PWR-C2-1025WAC DCB1932C74R OK Good Good 250/775
1B Not Present
My question, therefore, if this is indeed a bug, can someone please send me the link to the proven IOS that rectifies this and isn't known for additional bugs?

Hi,
That is a bug. Here is the suggested IOS by Cisco

Does the upgrade actually fixed i2c issue? Have anyone actually tried?

The issue still happens in version 15.2.4E7(MD) switch 2960XR-48FPD-I

Seeing the same issue here:
Jul 3 14:16:20.629 UTC: %PLATFORM_ENV-1-FRU_PS_ACCESS: FRU Power Supply is not responding
And we are running C2960X-UNIVERSALK9-M 15.2(2)E7
