I need to upgrade cisco catalyst 7604 version from 8.1 to somewhat higher version like 8.4 or 8.5

Since at 8.1 version flash memory at internal slot is not supported.

So can you help me how can I upgrade this to required version.

Exactly WHAT are you trying to upgrade?  The ROMmon or the IOS?

8.1(3) is the ROMmon/Bootstrap & 12.2(33)SRB3 is the IOS.

TAC usually recommends an IOS upgrade.

If this is the case, then you'll need to read the Release Notes very, very carefully because sometimes a ROMmon upgrade is mandatory before an IOS upgrade can follow.

Hi All

Thanks for your support.

I am able to upgrade Rommon version from 8.1 to 8.4.

At 8.1 version I had an issue CF is not detecting as bootable disk in internal slot of 720 supervisor card.

SO once I upgraded Rommon to 8.4 version,  720 supervisor board start taking CF as bootable disk at one of the internal RAM slot.
