Hi
Looking through the MIB's for FWSM v4.0 we are able to extract CPU, memory & I/O traffic for Admin and all the instances we have set up.
How do you monitor the System CPU & Memory activity of the FWSM? I am under the impression the System activity is below the Admin activity.
Cheers

Richard,
I think PDM lets you graph many aspects of the FWSM, as well as print or export graphs of the traffic through the FWSM and of system activity. When PDM is running, a packet of data is sent from the device to the applet every 10 seconds.. this is the data used to update PDM graphs for monitoring.

JK,
Thank you for your response. However PDM is no longer sold nor does it provide low level activity of the FWSM beyond the MIB's I can uncover (are there hidden or non-disclosed MIB's?). Could CSM (Cisco Security Manager) Performance Monitor be the answer?
Cheers
Richard
