generic protocol for dynamically vlan registration

We are using VTP protocol in our IT infra for VLAN management dynamically , we have created VTP server on cisco 4500 switch . Currently we have all the cisco switches in the  network mixing of 2950 & 2960 series. Now we are planning to add more switches  in the network with  different make like juniper/Dell/HP . Our concern is that how we can manage VLANs dynamically through VTP or any other protocol which supports both make.

I had to Google this, but doesn't seem possible unfortunately.

VTP is proprietary to Cisco its not vendor independent so you wont be able to do that if you have non Cisco switches
