GLC-T and Nexus5548UP

Hi,

I noticed that some Cisco GLC-T stay definitely in a down status on Nexus5548 (System version: 6.0(2)N2(1)).

To test, the basic configuration is :

interface ethernet 1/7

  speed 1000

  switchport mode trunk

I have 4 different versions of Cisco GLC-T (different electronic boards) that I used on this interface. 2 of them stay down.

Note: On C4500-X, no problem.

You'll find my test in attachment (Unfortunetely, I have no pictures of the 4th)

Software or hardware issue ?  Can someone confirm ?

Thanks,

Herve

Look at the hardware revision number.  It's is normally a set of numbers in this syntax:  XY-ABCD-NN.

The "NN" is what you are looking for.  This is the hardware revision number.

The revision number is 03 for all the GLC-T tested.
