We inserted GLC-T modules and on Nexus 5548 they are showing SFP validation Failed , as per Cisco doc GLC-T is support . Can any one help me out in fixing this , since we have 28 such modules and all after inserting showing same error. please see the below details.
I also try configuring speed and inserting modules but no result ..
Please let me know whether my GLC-T module is supported on Nexus 5548

Hi,
Please refer to the following link regarding configuring networking interfaces, the issue here is that the interfaces are configured for 10Gb and do not auto sense if you change the SPF, you need to manually configure the speed to 1000:
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5000/sw/configuration/guide/cli/BasicEthernet.html#wp1266647

I tried same things as per document stil not able to fix the issue.
Please help
I configured speed 1000 and then inserted the module , still the error is SFP validation failed

Hi,
couple of things to check
What version of software are you running?
I know you need at least Cisco NX-OS 5.0(3)N1(1) to support GLC-T
If the softare is up to date, than it is comparability issue, try a different GLC-T from a different vendor:
HTH

Hi,
You are running a supported release, as support was introduced in 5.0.3(N1)1 as mentioned in the previous post which you mentioned in your original post. the issue shouldn't be attributed to the version of Nxos but rather the Gbics you are using so specifying the speed should have worked for you. Incidentally did you do a 'shut' and a 'no shut' once the Gbic was connected after specifying the speed, as in some cases the interface could be error disabled.
Can you post the output of a 'show int eth?/? Transceiver calibrations' like I the example below:
N5K# sh int eth1/21 transceiver calibrations

Hi,
The question at this point is whether the SFPs are from a supported manufacturer? There is an unsupported command that you can use 'service unsupported transceiver', if you enable this command this will only help you to determine the validity of the SFP as it will bypass the validation checks. At no point should you continue to use this command in production as it is not supported by TAC, please also see the following link referring to the use of this command by Cisco employees. If the SFPs still do not pass the validity I strongly urge you to escalate the matter to Cisco TAC for further and assistance:

What Allan said. NB. make sure the interface isn't a member of a port-channel otherwise the interface speed command will not be available.
