Dear all,

We have a SG300-28P which has 2 WAP 121 attached to it, and we wish to setup a staff wifi (internet + intranet) and a guest wifi (internet only).

I've looked through tonnes of posts and followed them to the best of my ability but still can't make it work - DHCP just isn't assigned to the guest wifi clients.

Here's the setup (with just 1 WAP for now):

TPLink ER-6120 Router (the only DHCP server) - 192.168.0.254 (VLAN1), subnet 255.255.255.0

DHCP range 192.168.0.1 - 192.168.0.199, default gateway - itself (192.168.0.254)

Multi-net NAT is setup with 192.168.3.0/24, interface LAN, for VLAN 3

Static Route is setup with Destination - 192.168.3.0, Subnet 255.255.255.0, Next Hop - 192.168.0.250, Interface - LAN

SG300-28P - 192.168.0.250 (VLAN1), subnet 255.255.255.0, default VLAN 1

VLAN setup - VLAN 1, 2 (auto voice vlan), 3 (guest)

Port VLAN Membership - Port 28 to TPLink - 1UP 2T 3T, Port 12 to WAP121 (1UP, 3T)

IP Configuration - IPv4 Interface - VLAN 1 DHCP IP-192.168.0.250 Mask-255.255.255.0 Status Valid.

VLAN 3 STATIC IP 192.168.3.250 Mask- 255.255.255.0 Status Valid

IPv4 Routes -

1. 0.0.0.0, prefix length 0, route type Remote, Next Hop 192.168.0.254, Route Owner Static, metric 2

2. 192.168.0.0, prefix length 24, route type Local, next Hop 0.0.0.0, Route Owner Directly Connected

3. 192.168.3.0, prefix length 24, route type Local, next Hop 0.0.0.0, Route Owner Directly Connected

DHCP Relay - enabled, Option 82 not ticked, DHCP relay Server Table - 192.168.0.254 DHCP Snooping not enabled

DHCP Interface table - VLAN 3, Interface Ip 192.168.3.250, DHCP Relay enabled, DHCP Snooping disabled

WAP121 - 192.168.0.253

VLAN & IPv4 Address - Untagged VLAN ticked, Untagged VLAN and Management VLAN ID are both 1

IPv4 Settings  - DHCP

Wireless Networks - There's the staff SSID with VLAN 1, and Guest SSID with VLAN 3

If someone can help me solve this issue, I'd be eternally grateful!!

Regards,

Kevin
