I am having a doubt regarding an uplink port on both the switches (core switch & Server farm switch). For trial we have given 1 fiber 10G connection between core and server switch in multimode cable with SFP 10SR module(which is for multimode). But after connecting both the ends it works immediately, but after working for sometime around 5 or 6 hours from server farm switch the uplink port showed err disabled hence the connection is lost between core and Server switch, only in the server switch that trunk port is showing err disabled, but in core switch no log is showing just that the trunk port is off.Thats it. What is the issue for this. This is happening for the 2nd time during the trial. Please guide

what is the meaning of this command? we use "Cisco SFP-10G-SR" - module, switch model is (ws-c3850-24xu)

This command use when you insert other vendor sfp into cisco SW
But as you post sfp is cisco so plesse dont run command and follow with Mr. @Leo Laohoo he is expert in these issue.
Thanks a lot

Either update the firmware of the switch or get a 3rd party non-Cisco branded equivalent of the SFP-10G-SR. Try everyone's favorite, FS[.]com.
NOTE: Optic port goes into error-disable after "several hours" and caused by "invalid GBIC" is a weird behaviour. I would be expecting the reason for the error-disable to be loopback or excessive flapping.
Please post the complete output to the command "sh interface Ten 1/1/8 controll".

Hi i have now reconneced to the 1/1/2port from port 1/1/8, only transceiver is inserted not the fiber cable. After removing the transceiver from 1/1/2 it goes to to err disabled port status without even connecting the fiber uplink.here is the output below:
