Having Issue while changing STP mode from PVST to MST. Port on both switch(primary & secondary) goes into BLK state.

Hi,

I am facing issue whicle changing STP mode from PVST to MST.

Trunk port on both switches (primary & seondary) goes in BLK state amd entire traffic going down.

When i revert STP mode in switch all VLAN coming up and traffic restored.

The inconsistent local vlan error refers to a native vlan inconsistency between MST areas or MST/PVST interop.

Check that your native vlan and vlan assign to areas is consistent between switches and MST areas

Hi,

Native VLAN is 1.

my both switches were in MST0 only.

earlier it was working fine. we have performed router power off (secondary switch only), after Power on this issue came.

My all traffic is coming via 801.Q port and this port was in BLK state . so currently i have made secondary switch in PVST mode.
