i got model sg350x-24 for $299 (used) and sg350-10 as new for 145?  Will 350x will be overkill for me?

Hello,

only the SG350X supports 10G (both 10GBase-T and 10G SFP+). The SG350 does not support 10G. I guess that narrows down your choices...

Looking at the spec high level, SG350 do not support 10GB ports, maybe look SMB switch SX550 will have 10GB ports.

Thank you.  But both 350x and 550x support 10GBE.

Thank you.. .  I will go with SG-350x series as I'm planning to do link aggregation on 2 NAS and my PC's as well.  Hope the Switch wont make too much noise and get heat as this is for home use.  I'm planning to have this in basement anyway.

Hello,

--> Cisco SG350-10 Managed Switch with 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE)

This means that there are 10 ports that support 1 Gigabit Ethernet. The SG350 does not support 10G.
