Help recovering username/password

I just received an 831 router I got in ebay, however it apparently was previously configured and its prompting me for a username and then a password as soon as it boots. How can I go about clearing this? I I get this both via the console and the web based interface. I know I've seen before ways to reset the passwords but this one's also asking me for a username as well...please help.

I've contacted the seller already and waiting for an answer but I have a feeling he may not know this, or it may take a while to get an answer.

Thanks I ended up deleting the whole startup config and starting from scratch with my own now that I can log in. Thanx again!
