Help with dhcp not working (server DNS)

matjoh4753
Level 1
Level 1

I have set up OSPF on the three routers and set an IP helper-address on routers 1 and 2, but I still can't pull DHCP (set up on matjoh-server1) Any help?

Other info:

EtherChannels are set up on the spine and leaf sections.

Server 1 has been set up for DNS for future use

OSPF has been established in each Router.

Word doc has PT for reference.

Hi @matjoh4753

Take a close look on my file and compare with yours.  There was some issue with your project.

I will list a few but I may not remember all of them. But the file I am attaching is working.

You did not add the "helper-address" on the router Matjoh4753-R2

The router Matjoh4753-R3 does not know the networks for vlan 20.  The network was not getting to this router. You made some mistake on the interfaces configuration.  You need to review it on your file.

The router Matjoh4753-R3 does know the network 172.16.47.0. As you have no OSPF between router and core switch, you need to add static route.

The switch where the DHCP server is connected need to have route

the switch matjoh4753-Spine1 need to have route.

The DHCP scope for vlan 10 is wrong.
