I have a cat 3560 series switch that has been factory reset and running in rommom mode. Two failed attempts to upload the newest ios using xmodem and now im out of room 4228096 bytes available 11770880 bytes used. All commands i have used have failed to delete what is on there please help.

Hi,

Be careful with the files you select for yor 3560.

Some older 3560s on ly have 16MB of flash.
Yours looks like one of these.

Make sure you use an "LM" version of IOS (LM = Low Memory)

e.g.
c3560-ipserviceslm-tar.122-53.SE1.tar

Thank you Alex for the advice, i will look for the low mem ios after i figure out how to erase or format the memory to make room for it. I have tried rmdir and format flash to no availe along with a page of other commands. I'm stuck until the internal memory is erased.
