Hi 7609 power issue PWR-4000-DC has 3 power input?

old power unit only has one power input.

is there any benefit of this product design change from one power input to 3 power inputs

we just have 2 DC power input from outside or battery,not 3,

can i connect  PWR-4000-DC two DC input to one power input from battery or outside power. and use just only one same fuse and power protect breaker
