Hello,
I wouldlike to know if it's possible to change a master in a 3750 stack without rebooting it?
I searched in Cisco documentation, in the forum, and I googled it but I didn't find anything.
Thanks for your answers.

Hi
i dont think so as the stack master election is done during boot up.

Hi Frank,
No there is no way you can make the another device to be master.
Support you have 2 switches (Switch 1 --switch 2) were Switch 1 is currently Master.
Now if you want the Switch 2 to take the Master role you have to change the priority on SW2 to be higher than unit 1 and reload the unit 1.
there is no non-invasive way to force a reelection.
Hope this helps.

Thanks for your answer.
I hoped that there is a non-disruptive method...
