How can comunicate 2 pc via a switch

Hi there , I have connected two laptops in a switch , but I don't know why this two can not comunitate. I have changed the ip address, I have putted the laptops in the same VLAN . If I ping the switch from any of this two devices the switch respond but if I wanna send a ping from one laptop to the other one it doesn't work. Can you explain me w

This Looks more of Windows FW issue ( windows by default have FW,)

disable the FW and Try it should work as expected.
