Solved: How can i configure the ssh on C4507 Switch?

Hello

I have been using the C4507R+E with WS-X45-SUP8-E supervisor.

I tried to configure the SSH for remote connect. but i couldn't complete that. it seems to be doesn't support any SSH command on this OS version.

cat4500es8-universal.SPA.03.07.02.E.152-3.E2.bin

ROM: 15.1(1r)SG5

How can i configure the ssh on this C4507 switch and OS version? i supposed upgrade to another OS?

The IOS does NOT support SSH. The IOS that supports SSH should have the characters "k9" in the filename.

ROM: 15.1(1r)SG5

Read the Release Notes carefully. Under Upgrading the System Software it states:

If you are upgrading to Cisco IOS XE 3.7.xE and using Supervisor Engine 7-E or 7L-E, you must use ROMMON version 15.0(1r)SG10 or a higher version (if available).
