Hello all,
How may I create one alias " wr me " which backup simultaneously the configuration of a router or switch in start-up and on a TFTP server?
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards

I have just seen that the archives command allows to make it.
But I would like I could put the date of the backup in the name of the file. How may I make it?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
$t used in the
archive
path ....
command might make it.
But I never tested that with TFTP and the example
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/customer/docs/ios/fundamentals/command/reference/cf_m1.html#wp1049550
or
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios/fundamentals/command/reference/cf_m1.pdf
is using disk0 to save the archive files.
But according to the Usage Guidelines this might work with TFTP, too, I hope.
BR,
Milan
