How do I chose a router? Network has about 100+ devices across a campus with remote sites connected thru metro-e.

Thinking of a 1921 to use as core router.

It is a good choice, just that to add more memory or flash won't be possible in future.

Carlos,

you used the word "core" router. Now, is this going to be in the Data Center or something?. As John pointed out, you need to first knw what your BW requirements are. and also what other services might be needed for eg: are you going to VPN's to connect to the remote sites, QoS etc,  and so forth

Maybe we can suggest a bit more if you can provide some more information on your requirrements

Choice depends on performance and feature requirements, and as Kishore mentioned, knowing more of your requirements are really necessary to offer any good recommendations.  That said, for LAN usage, likely no ISR, or even the larger software routers, might be an ideal choice as their performance capacities are usually inadequate for LAN bandwidths.
