How do you break the boot sequence for a WS-C3750v2? I have tried all the traditional methods.... CTRL-Break, Break, CTRL-S
hift-Break, CTRL-Shift-F6. None of these key sequences to work. The switch is in a boot loop and I cannot break it.

Hi,
Console to the switch. Turn off the switch and hold the mode key button in front of the switch and turn the switch on.

Thanks, I found the answer at http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/hw/switches/ps628/products_password_recovery09186a0080094184.shtml.
Must hold the mode switch until Syst led turns solid green at which point the switch will be at the "switch:" prompt or rmon mode.

Hello,
I've been trying to reset my Cisco 3750X using a USB-to-Serial connection, but my mode button is physically broken—it’s not an electrical issue, just the part that makes it push is gone. I’ve tried multiple methods, including those from zzbronski, and have read everything I could find on the topic.
There’s also a reset button near the stack ports, but I think it’s meant for stack management, and I’m pretty sure it’s broken too. Given all this, is there anything else I haven’t tried that could help?
Thanks!

Well, if "just the part that makes it push is gone" then it should be fairly easy to use some kind of pin as a replacement to hold down the mode button.
