How to change Idle timeout on AAA configured routers

  Hi ,

Can anybody help me know how to change Idle timeout on AAA configured routers....???

We are trying to get the output of extended ping to g mail.com.We have given the repeat count as 20000.The problem we are facing is that after 10 mins the session is getting closed (as the session is idle) .Because of this we are not getting the output of the extended ping we have given (it is not completing as well in 10 mins).

We changed Idle time in AAA connfiguration for the particular user to 60 seconds but still the session is closing after 10 mins.We then changed session timeout in telnet configuration which was set to 10 mins of router but it also did not help.

Is there anything which I missed out....???

Regards ,

Divya

Change your "exec-timeout" on your vty sessions to "0"   or make them much longer than 10 minutes.  Most likely if you look at  your vty config the exec-timeout is set at  10 minutes .  Change them back once you are done testing.
