Hi all,
i have 3548 xl switch i know on other switches i can use command
sh int trunk but on this switch it does not work.
do anyone knows which command we can use to check trunk ports other then this
sh int fa switchport???????????

Unfortunatley on the XL switches there is no equivalent command to "sh int trunk". Best you can do is save config to a text file and do a search for "trunk".

Hello Mahesh,
usually this kind of switches support the command
show interface typex/y switchport
the output of this command can provide a lot of information
You should look for the lines containing the following words
admin state = configured state
operation state = current state
this show can tell if a port is acting as a trunk or not and other info
