how to configure logging to syslog server

hi

I am facing a problem regarding with logging to synology syslog server.

the prolem is that the synology syslog server does not receive any log message from cisco 3560 series switch and 2900 series router, but gets log messages fro Juniper firewall and the rest 3 window servers.

When I test with another series cisco switch, it receive the message.

Can anyone help me to advice. Thanks

Hello,

Cisco IOS and Juniper both use UDP port 514 for syslogging. In the Syslog Configuration settings, make sure that under 'Receiving' you have checked both BSD and IETF enabled, and SSL disabled...

Which DSM version are you running ? I looked around and found the thread below, several solutions are suggested at the end of the thread (page 3), you might want to check those:
