how to configure magement IP on 2960 switch

please can anyone help me with syntax config for management IP on 2960 switch which has its gigabit/01 port receiving radio access to share resource to a fiber converter on g/02 while the f/1 -- f/24 are meant to vlan for access to other users.

the users are meant to be use to manage the other remote fiber nodes that are on different 2960 switches.

Once in global config mode (configure terminal)

Interface Vlan1

ip address <ip address> <subnet mask>

Interface Vlan1

no ip address <ip address> <subnet mask>
