How to cut down the number of rogue AP's being detected

For some background, we have a WLC 5520 and running 2802 AP's.  We are running 8.5.161.0.

I haven't checked Prime in a long time, and discovered our Rogue AP alarms were over 100K for the last 30 days.   I went through and deleted them (yes, 500 at a time), and would like to start from scratch.  When I got it down to zero, the alarms were coming up quickly.  In 20 minutes, we have almost 900 rogue AP alarms.

Our offices are in taller buildings, and we are usually on the upper floors.   What can I do to reduce the number of alarms?

I usually change the Rogue Detection rate on the WLC to -70 which usually helps a lot along with Rogue rules

To change the Detection rate  on the WLC

Security

Wireless Protection Policies

Rouge Polices

General  > Change  Rogue Detection Minimum RSSI (-70 to -128)  to -70

I'll see if that helps, we have it at -80.
