How to delete a file on bootflash

hi i tried using del bootflash:<filename>

even after executing the command i can see the filename on the bootflash:

So, i try to delete the same file again it sayd no such file.

how to delete the file from the bootflash and how to clear it from the bootflash:

depending on the file system used on the bootflash you may need an additional step:

squeeze bootflash:
