How to differentiate WS-X6824-SFP-2T vs WS-X6824-SFP-2TXL ?

As part of RMA process got below card. How do I verify that is 2TXL ? Is there any CLI command to verify this?

Looks like Factory ID label is wrong here (it is not definitely a 48 port card :-( )

Thanks

Rasika

Flip the line card on it's back.  The correct PID should be a sticker.  It'll also determine if the line card is XL or plain.

Another option is to invoke the command "sh module".  This is very useful if the DFC card was retrofitted.

Yes, that's correct.  The "XL" in the DFC card is the one to look for.

Hi Leo,

Thanks for the response. On back side of line card I see below, not indicating it is XL

Below is the output of "show module" where a XL card is in. Does it shows it is WS-6824-SFP-2TXL or 2T?

Yes, that's correct.  The "XL" in the DFC card is the one to look for.

Thanks for the ratings, Rasika.
