Hi,
Can you confirm that if I want to disable temporarily a dhcp pool on a 4500, I need just to shutdown the interface VLAN corresponding to a specific dhcp pool?
ip dhcp pool test
network 10.X.27.0 255.255.255.0
default-router 10.15.27.250
domain-name test
!
interface Vlan200
ip address 10.15.27.250 255.255.255.0
shutdown
Thanks and regards,
Vin

Hi,
Yes, shutting down the vlan interface (SVI) or removing its up address, causes the switch to lose the VLAN's L3 up status, so simply DHCP wont work for that specific vlan.
plz Rate if it helped.

Command: no ip dhcp pool test
If you shutdown the interface and you need to manage the appliance using the same VLAN it is not possible.
