How to factory reset Catalyst C9200L-24T without command

I bought a Catalyst C9200L-24T for backup two years ago and want to use it now, but I failed access it with webui account and password is neither cisco or S/N. I need to factory reset it. I had tried hold Mode button over 10 seconds, but the led doesn't flash then solid as some documents claims. Did I going the wrong way? Please reply me the correct way to reset. Thank you for any advice.

Sorry, I can't connect to console, I don't have console cable right now.

Look at the front of the switch.  There is a USB mini-Type B.  That is a console port.  There is no need to buy a dedicated Cisco concole cable when a USB Type A to a USB mini-Type B will suffice.

Password recovery process for the Catalyst 9200/9300 are different. 

Power up the switch and observe the LED.  Do NOT press the Mode button. 

Once the System LED starts to flash, press the Mode button 3 times in quick succession.  Remember, PRESS.  I did not say "hold it down".
