How to find the IP from Cisco AIR-AP-1131AGA-KG access point

Hi all,

I have 5 APs in our office.  I would like to change the password for the respective SSIDs. I have the IPSU tool, after putting in the MAC address, the response is Device is not responding. Very sure the AP is working as my mobile is connected, and the MAC address is correct.

I also tried the arp -a, the MAC address of my AP did not appear on the list.

The APs are mounted on a high ceiling, best if the solution can be remote and not a physical "blue cable" connection.

Thanks!

To find the Access Point's IP address

  1. Open utility window, make sure Get IP addr is selected in the Function box.
  2. Type the Access Point's MAC address in the Device MAC ID field. The Access Point's MAC address is printed on the label on the bottom of the unit. It should contain six pairs of hexadecimal digits. Your Access Point's MAC address might look like the following example: 004096xxxxxx
  3. Click Get IP Address.
  4. Write down the Access Point's IP address that appears in the IP Address field.
  5. To check the IP address, browse to the Access Point's browser-based management pages. Open an Internet browser.
  6. Type or paste the Access Point's IP address in the browser's location or address field.
  7. Press Enter. The Access Point's home page appears.

If IPSU reports that the IP address is 10.0.0.1, the default IP address, then the Access Point did not receive a DHCP-assigned IP address.

I can't access the cisco air-ap1852i-b-k9

No Ip Address shows on the network, how can i configure them as single AP's
