How to make Linksys e4200 as an access point.

Guys,

We have a linksys E4200 and we need to make this works as an access point. it is connected to a Cisco 3560 switch.

the connection is like this

Internet---------->Cisco2811 router----------------->Cisco 3560 Switch----------------------->LinksysE4200

We need to use the Linksys as an access point, is that possible?

if yes can you provide me a sample config?

Hi Chris,

There is no function to turn the router into a pure AP.

I looked at it myself when i first got it.

Just disable NAT and all the other functions and turn off dhcp and plug the c3560 into one of the 4 internal ports and it will function as a AP for your network.

There was buzz that it would be added down the track.
