How to recovery Catalyst 6500 in ROMMON mode by xmodem

Hello, please help me!

I have catalyst 6500. I needed to download a new IOS. I downloaded it on PC. I need to do that by console.

I tried to do that, as it described here.

After downloading the image, it tell "Invalid device specified" 

As i see there is no option -r (copy image to dram for launch) on catalyst 6500.

I don't have Flash memory.

I can't find how to choose directory to where copy the image. Please, help me,

how to recovery my device?

The wrong file was uploaded.  

The file needed to be uploaded should be a BIN file, the IOS file for the supervisor card.

What else can be the problem?

I think SUP having the USB port. you can use USB drive to recover the device.
