How to reset a blade in a Cisco 4510

Is there a way (command) short of pulling out a blade, issuing a reload command or unplugging the entire 4510 chassis, to reset a blade within a 4510?

Here is why I'm asking. A co-worker using some Fluke gear claims that the Fluke reports being plugged into blade 9, if indeed its plugged into blade 3. The switch in question is our root switch with hundreds of active ports. He would like to bounce the entire switch and I would like to avoid that. The unit has been running for almost 4 years straight without any issues, a reboot or power loss.

hw-module module X reset

Replace X with the module number.

So if its blade 3, then I'd issue the following command:

hw-module module 3 reset

I'll assume that it would drop all traffic/ports on that blade until the recycle process completes?

Correct. It will reload the entire module. It will take about 15-30 seconds for the module to reset.
