Hello Marce,

 

thanks for your reply but i want static Arp entry on interface and when i'm trying to define port  like "arp ip-address hardware-address type arpa interface gi0/1" then getting error like bad address only for bridge ip something like this.

 

Pleae let me know how to set on interface?

Hello,

 

I think you can only use the full command specifying the interface when the interface is in Layer 2 mode. With a layer 3 interface, you can only use the IP address followed by the MAC address and the 'arpa' keyword, e.g:


arp 1.1.1.1 0202.0101.0909 arpa
