Hello @jewfcb001 ,
the hardware version cannot be updated it is an attribute of the linecard that actually is shipped with it.
The document that you have found explains this.
unless the field notice mentioned by @Leo Laohoo applies to your linecards you should be fine.
To be noted the C6500 architecture allows for a mix of centralized and distributed forwarding CFC and DFC on different linecards, but the DFCs have to aligned with the version on the supervisor PFC and this is your customer's case.
This is the most important requirement.
Hope to help
Giuseppe

Mixing HW Revision is not of any concern. All manufacturers do the same thing (if their documentation is correct).

- That are the firmware versions of the modules and they are 'steady' ; please elaborate : what is your need ? ; meaning subsequent changes in firmware are sometimes needed when the (I)OS of the switch is upgraded , but that is mentioned in release notes and upgrade guidelines ,

I want to see those serial numbers because they are vital.
Vital as in "will these line cards still work after a reboot because of FN - 63743 - Catalyst 6500 - Might Fail to Boot Up After a Software Upgrade or Power Cycle or not?"

@Leo Laohoo
I have replaced It's working fine but found hw version not same old line card. Please advise me.

>...Can I upgrade to same version ?
- These versioning info's are module specific and not related to different and or other module types ,

@marce1000
But I still confuse . Because module 1 and 2 same model but hw version it's difference version.
So hw verion depend on sub module Ex. CFC/DFC3C etc. Please advise me.

- Since the modules have an ok status (Status column - reported), I don't think the indicated firmware differences should be a concern ,
