How to verify if Multicast is working for specfic host

Hello all, what is the best command to verify multicast is running for a specific host? We have a new Ghost server that I'm currently testing...I have it setup to use multicast on the server and the host is booting up and pulling the image however, I would like to see that its pulling the image via multicast and not unicast.

Currently we have a 6500 core infrastructure Cisco 3560 layer 2 to the closet. I have setup multicast via sparse mode and have enabled it on the core (layer 3 interfaces and global command of multicast routing) and IGMP snooping on the access layer.

When I run the commands "show ip igmp neighbors" and "show ip igmp groups" and "show mroute" I see multicast info and RP's however, I'm not seeing the host or the ghost server.

Any help would be appreciated....thanks Dan

Hello,

You could try 'show ip mroute active' or 'show ip mroute count' you also have 'show ip igmp membership'

hth.
